Safe Food Plus Ministry (SFPM)
One of the missions of Safe Food Plus LLC is to minister to those who have made poor choices, went down the wrong path, grown up in difficult environments, or been in the wrong place at the wrong time, and they just need a break to get them back on track. During my 20+ years in restaurant operations, I’ve been witness to the fact that many times these men and women (often still just boys and girls) are only seeking an opportunity where they can prove that they are worthy and can be productive in our society. They want to do what’s right and they need help. They want to change the direction of their lives and not only stay out of trouble, but live life with a greater purpose and design.
The restaurant industry offers this opportunity to many because of its easier entry point to employment and flexible hours. However, without relevant job skills, most employers won’t even take a chance on someone with a troubled background. These individuals need a faith-based organization that partners, mentors and loves on them by giving them specific life / job skills and training to prepare them in advance of what God’s plans are for them (just like God has prepared for us in advance). I believe they can be transformed through the love of Jesus Christ. I’d like my company’s purpose to be part of this vision by offering restaurant industry job skills to help these people find jobs
Therefore, if you are interested in either participating in this program, or partnering with Safe Food Plus LLC, or sponsoring someone, please contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
SFPM is inspired by Ephesians Chapter 2…
You were lifeless in your wrongdoings and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world. All of us have done this at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and of this world and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were deserving of punishment. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were lifeless in our wrongdoings—it is by God’s grace that you have been saved from a destructive path. Grace and mercy is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by your own works. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
